Siri Mahila Sadhikaraka Welfare Society (SMSWS) is a community-based organization dedicated to empowering marginalized women through social protection, health services, legal literacy, and sustainable livelihood support. Since 2004, we have been working to ensure that every woman lives a life of dignity—free from discrimination—with improved access to healthcare, education, safety, and financial stability.

What We Do: Core Areas of Service”
Health Services
HIV/AIDS testing, ART linkages, regular health camps, Aarogyasri-funded surgeries, COVID relief & vaccination mobilization, and preventive health awareness.
Social Protection Services
Assistance for Aadhaar, PAN, caste & income certificates, DBT-enabled bank/post office accounts, mapping reduced-fee service providers and scheme enrollment support.
Livelihoods & Financial Inclusion
Vocational training, micro-enterprise support, microloans, financial literacy and market linkages to create sustainable incomes and economic security.
Crisis Response & Relief
Emergency relief during crises (e.g., COVID-19): ration kits, food distribution, PPE, oxygen support, cash relief facilitation and resilience-building activities.
Legal Literacy & Justice
Legal awareness, district advocacy, police interface meetings, rights education, facilitation of legal aid clinics and support for survivors of violence.
Community Leadership
Leadership and governance training, capacity building for community facilitators, monitoring & evaluation, BOD strengthening and AGM facilitation.
Organizational Development
Governance, compliance (CSR-1, 12A, 80G), audits, stakeholder engagement, fundraising readiness and partnerships to strengthen the CBO’s sustainability.
